London Wedding Photographer Wallace Collection
London Wedding Photographer Wallace Collection. I was very excited when I was contacted by Tom and Eriko about their wedding reception at the Wallace Collection in Central London. I had not been to the Wallace Collection before – However when I was at the Venue I was absolutely stunned at how large and how special the Collection is. I was at the Venue early as usual and I was amazed to see how busy it was so early in the morning.
About the Wallace Collection
In a nutshell…The Wallace Collection is a national museum which displays the wonderful works of art collected in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by the first four Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, the son of the 4th Marquess. It was bequeathed to the British nation by Sir Richard’s widow, Lady Wallace, in 1897. Displayed at Hertford House, the main London townhouse of its former owners, the Wallace Collection presents its outstanding collections in a sumptuous but approachable manner which is an essential part of its charm. Back to Tom and Eriko
Tom was looking for a very special place to host their special wedding reception as they literally had guests coming from all over to join them on their special day. Tom and Eriko are a lovely couple who are very much in love. We were not allowed to use flash photography – no matter how much I begged and pleaded… so we had to get a little creative… We had a great time exploring the Wallace Collection with its Grand Rooms.
I would also like to thank all the staff and security at the Wallace collection for their hospitality. I hope I can get the chance to photograph there again! Here are some photos of the day. I hope you enjoy them!
